Ninth-floor retrofit using tilt-and-turn sashes so every pane can be cleaned safely from inside.
On the ninth floor with no external access, cleaning the outside face of the glass had become a genuine problem. Tilt-and-turn sashes solve it: turn the handle twice and the whole sash swings inward.
Retractable insect screens were fitted on the inside face so the tilt position can be used all evening without letting mosquitoes in.
