A six-metre lift-and-slide opening the living room onto the lawn, plus bi-folds to the covered terrace.
The architect wanted the boundary between the living room and the lawn to disappear. We supplied a three-panel aluminium lift-and-slide with a flush floor track, so there is no threshold to step over, plus a five-leaf bi-fold to the covered terrace.
Every panel is toughened double glazed; the flush track is drained to a channel below slab level to handle monsoon run-off.
